Hey friends,
We will be keeping some of these summer episodes shorter but still packed with value and life lessons. I am here to share with you this week that we have acquired 4 chickens! This has been something I've been wanting for quite some time and it's not like this was some special point in life that it finally worked out, we just decided to pull the plug. I had a friend who had some extra teenage hens that she didn't need and offered me some. I couldn't pass it up!
On this episode I share all about how we acquired them, how we are keeping them, why we wanted them, and how we have slowly built our own version of a homestead life over here with an acre of land. You can do a lot with a little and I love what we have built so far! You'll also get to hear what I and the kids named them all.
We are ever learning and ever growing in this life and I am so excited to have jumped into the chicken world. Fresh eggs here we come!!

Hello!
Welcome back to the show. Even if you are not a runner this episode is still worth listening to. You can insert whatever your passion, interest, or hobby is and be able to relate and cultivate your own story. We all are different and choose to pursue the things that light us up and give us joy and purpose. For me, running is one of those BIG outlets in my life that has given me more than I ever could have imagined. It has gotten me through some pretty tough seasons of my life and has allowed me to connect with God and nature to bring more clarity and space to my mind.
In this episode I give a little background on how I started running, the races I've accomplished, the relationships that have come into my life, and all the ways running has shaped and molded me as a person. It has challenged me and taught me SO much. It has been there every time I've come back to it after having my 4 children and each time it has just gotten richer and more meaningful.
My favorite part ,though, is all the amazing humans I have met through this sport, the authentic conversations I get to have with people, and the support I get to give and have been given for the goals and races we all set out to achieve. It's a beautiful thing really. I know this episode will be encouraging and uplifting to you and especially to you runners who I know can relate to much of what I talk about. Whatever your passions and interests are, I hope that you get to cultivate a rich meaning around it, make time and space for it in your life, and share it with some incredible people.

Hey friend!
I know this episode is going to be SO helpful especially if you have children. We live in such a digital world where everyone is glued to their screens and staying indoors more. It's not just children/teenagers either, it's us adults as well.
On today's episode I share about the importance of getting ourselves outside right away to start the day, especially in these summer months. It not only has a ton of health benefits it also just sets everyone's moods right to start the day.
I love getting to watch my children use their imagination and learn new skills when playing outside. I am not saying to never let them be on screens but challenge yourself to see what kind of things you can fill up majority of your time with. You'd be surprised! I pray this episode blesses and encourages you.

Hello Friend,
Today's topic was inspired from a recent speech I gave at a family member's graduation party. I chose the topic of "Focus" (where is your focus). I had some positive feedback and I really felt led to share it here.
Our world, more than ever, is booming with distractions. If we aren't careful, they can begin to impact and blur our vision and dreams. You must know what those distractions and and be able to combat them when they present themselves. Become aware of them and how to respond to them so you can continue to move in the direction you want. Keep your focus on God's truths and allow Him to help navigate you through life.
Know that what "you focus on, you find." Nothing in life was meant to always come easy or be free of trials and temptations but nothing GREAT has ever come from an easy, "trial free" life. I pray this message encourages and blesses you.

After a little life update we cruise right into the topic on a supplement called Creatine. I have recently started using it and was blown away at all the things I was learning about it. Hey Friend!
Welcome back to this week's episode. I never understood how Mom's would sometimes forget to eat or just barely have time to fit it in. Now having 4 children of my own, I do, I get it! haha. The purpose of today's topic is to bring back awareness to why we must be intentional with fueling our bodies during Motherhood. Especially during pregnancies, postpartum healing, and to keep up with the season of life of little people. Also, we must think long term and if you desire to do things with your older children and then your grandchildren. Wouldn't it be incredible to be in such a great physical and mental state to be able to participate and engage in so much adventure in the life ahead and not be burdened by a sick, weak, unhealthy body?
I am sharing why I gravitated back towards tracking my food after having my 4th child. How I came back to the basics, why I am not being so strict, and how it's helping me make sure I eat enough (especially protein). My goal is to encourage you as Mom's to take ownership of your health and well-being. That you would recognize that taking care of you allows you to show up as your best self for your family. It won't always look perfect bc I know I have already had the days where I wasn't so focused on tracking or being mindful but when I have this tool in my pocket I can pull it back out at start right up again the next day. It holds me accountable and reminds me of the goal. Tracking my food religiously is not the goal, the goal is to create the awareness when I am going to put something in my mouth and creating better habits that will serve me long term through the ups and downs in Motherhood seasons. I can then have an established thought pattern that won't require tracking, it will be more intuitive and mindful right from the get go and that is my hope for you!

I think this episode touches on many great points that will make sense for you and hopefully encourage you to make some changes in our life. If you struggle with discipline in some areas of your life, whether it's fitness, eating habits, tv, money, sleep, work, "you fill in the blank" then this episode will help you.
I break down all the different qualities and habits that a disciplined person has and how freeing they actually can be once implemented. Don't give up on your goals, dreams, and desires. They were placed there for a reason and sometimes we all just need a little reminder and encouragement to keep going and not give up. We must master the mundane, not be ruled by our mood every time, commit to the vision, remove the distractions, and keep our eye on the prize.

Hey Friend!
Welcome back to another episode. This week I am sharing some insights on what it's like to workout when you are a Mom with a bunch of little humans. (my world currently!) I have been well seasoned in this, the last 6 years and make it my aim to still show up to take care of my body despite the imperfection of how it all gets done sometimes.
If you are struggling to make exercise and moving your body a priority as a Mom and really want to then let me encourage you in this episode. It can be really hard some days but you will usually thank yourself later that you did. Let your kids be your BIGGEST reason to take care of you not your excuse not to. You'd be amazed at what your children will learn and value as they watch their Mom make a little time for them. Include them and share with them why you are doing this. I am cheering you on Momma!

In this episode we get right to it! Chatting about how much we as humans evolve and that it is OK to change. So often we fear what others will think of us if we choose to take a different path than what we were originally on. That is no way to live my friends. You will end up living life on other people's terms than your own. We are constantly being shaped and molded throughout life, so it would only make sense that we change/evolve right? That is a sign of growth, understanding, and humility.

Hi friend,
I cannot wait for you to tune into this episode! I am sharing with you all about my general experience with chiropractic care the last 7 years and how it has been a staple in the health of my children and I. Many of you have asked why I take my children as young as newborns in and what an adjustment even looks like for them that little. It has provide amazing support during my 4 pregnancies, postpartum, and all the physical activity I do in the fitness world.
