Hey friend!
Are you 30 years or older?? Do you want to live a strong, healthy, vibrant life? Does staying active and doing all the things you love late in your years sound appealing? If so, then you'll want to tune in to today's episode. I just turned 30 and now need to really make sure I am on top of my game here. I ain't 20 anymore, haha!
LESS MUSCLE MEANS GREATER WEAKNESS AND LESS MOBILITY! I'm sure most people don't want that to happen to them and would strive to do the things that would prevent that from happening. Let's focus on health for the long run here, no quick fixes. You want to live that life like I mentioned above? Then it requires your consistent and intentional actions day in and day out. Realize that your health isn't just about physical appearance but rather how the body is functioning on the inside so you can wake up and thrive every day.
Blessings of Health and Vitality,
Gabby

Hey friend!
I am FINALLY getting this out into the world! I cannot wait for you to listen to my latest birth story. I love listening to other's birth stories and all the little details so you better believe I shared as many details as I could remember with you on this episode. It's wild to think I am on the other side of it now and by the time this episode airs, she will be 5 weeks old.
I knew she was coming early, and she did, by 6 days. I can't tell you why or how I knew, but it was just this Mom instinct and gut feeling (which, by the way, is usually spot on haha). It was such an incredible birth and God really answered my prayers of wanting this one to be similar to my 2nd born. I had an incredible support from my husband, as usual, and actually invited my Mom to attend as well! We chose to have another unmedicated hospital birth and I couldn't have asked for better nurses or a midwife to support me in that choice.
It all happened so fast once I finally accepted the fact that I was in labor. It was a rich and beautiful experience to be able to labor majority of it at home around my other 3 children. GO grab your fave beverage of choice to enjoy as you tune in to hear just how miraculous birth really is.
Enjoy!
Gabby

Hey friend!
I'm back this week and chatting ALL things garden as I am now prepping and planting my indoor seeds. As I am currently typing this, we got hit with another random winter storm, go figure, we just can't win here in the Midwest can we? haha...Soon enough we will all be out there with our hands in the soil and sweat on our brow.
I got all our indoors seedlings planted just in time for our baby to make her arrival 2 days later. It's like she knew she wasn't allowed to come until I had that done! I am so glad I had that all set to go and now I just get to tend to it. I thought it would be too much but it's really been ok.
In this episode I share why to start growing indoors, what plants are ideal to start inside, what you will want to directly sow outside, supplies you may want to consider having, what soil I used, how you can repurpose things around your home, how to grow potatoes from store bought ones, and encouraging you to just go for it and PLANT my friend. I've come a long way from when I began my own gardening journey and here I am 10 years later still learning from mistakes but also feeling super confident in many of the skills I have acquired.
Let's get ourselves eating more homegrown food, becoming more self sufficient, and getting outdoors more! Check out all the linked items below to all that I had mentioned in today's episode...Happy Gardening!

March 13,2020...A day I never want to re-live. A sweet soul gone TOO soon, taken by a sudden found diagnosis of aggressive pancreatic cancer.
It's never easy to lose someone in life but it's even harder when it is sudden and so abrupt. Today's episode actually airs on the 3 year anniversary of my best friend of 4.5 years, Sandi, passing from this life into eternal life. I couldn't think of a better way to honor her other than dedicating this day and show to her by sharing all about the impact she had on my life and those all around her.
It's a beautiful and rare thing when you can find a friend 17 years older than you who becomes just like family and wants to spend all the time in the world with you and your family. Living life, sharing dreams, pursuing goals, and working together to change the lives of those around us.
Tune in today if you want to be touched by a life that touched mine. My goal is to live on for her and do the things we would still do together even if it takes me a while to get there. I miss her every day and am reminded of her SO many times bc she was a part of my every day for many years. May you be blessed by this story and may it allow you to feel anything you need to feel about someone you may have lost that was near and dear to you.
Be blessed friends,
Gabby

Hey friend!
Today's episode has been a long time coming and now it's finally here! I wanted to be able to have a conversation with you about my general mindset and plan going into labor and birth as I am now awaiting the arrival of my 4th within the next week or so. I LOVE talking about and hearing about different birth experiences. I share my take on how we (my husband and I) have pursued the goal of a natural birth with all our children within the hospital realm. I share little insights from each of my other 3 births, things that we learned, and resources we've used to help us along the way.
My goal is to just better inform women/mom's about their options and choices out there. So much has been lost in this culture in terms of empowering the Mom to use her voice and stand firm in her instincts when it comes to birth. While I recognize that birth interventions/"protocols" are used and needed in critical times I also recognize that they have been abused and women have NOT been educated on how they impact you and baby long term. I also understand that not every woman cares and that is totally fine too. Do what you want with the information you have and the desired outcome you are seeking. We are all different but all I can ask is for you to have an open mind as I share my knowledge and labor experiences. I can't wait for you to tune in and hear all about it and stay tuned for a full episode on my labor and birth story after this little one is born!! In that episode I will share more on the choices we make for all the newborn care/procedures as well as my own post partum care.
Enjoy,
Gabby

Hey Friends!
Today's episode is a great one to tune in to if you'd like to hear just how easy it can be to prep food and your home before your baby makes it's grand entrance.
I wanted to get a head start on much of the food stuff before I slow down even more than I am. Haha. Come the beginning of March I will switch into garden mode and focus on getting our indoor seedlings started.(of course there will be a garden episode on that soon) Mid March is when this baby is due to make her entrance but we all know, babies come when they come! We are in the home stretch here with hopefully a little under 4 weeks to go.
I want to be able to still nourish my family with all our staple foods and make it super easy to still do so while I am recovering and adjusting to having a newborn again. I share all the things I am freezing, making double batches of, and some easy go to snacks for me and the kiddos.
I know this episode will be insightful and helpful for any "soon to be" Mommas that are looking to get their family and home prepared as best as they can before their new arrival.
Be blessed,
Gabby

Hey Friend!
Have you ever been scared to, make a move...make a change...go a completely new direction...and actually face the hard truth?
If that's you or been you then I welcome you to take a seat and listen to my journey through my first network marketing company/MLM that really was a stepping stone in life now that I have the hindsight to see that. I NEVER thought I would leave (does anyone sucked ever think they would? haha) It became an identity but it also became a financial overhead, burnout, and not ideal for our future goals for our family.
I welcome you to listen in to my first time really sharing this in such depth and the sweet story that is near and dear to my heart. My late best friend, Sandi, who I did EVERYTHING with in terms of business and life was the one who took the first big leap and then had the conversation with me to see if I would join her. She cried bc she was scared I wouldn't make the shift with her, but I did bc I trusted her and was having the same struggles she was but wasn't willing to admit them. That was February 2019, fast forward to March 2020 when she passed away from a sudden cancer diagnosis. She left me a gift! I truly believe God prompted her at just the right time to open this door for me to have a NEW and more fulfilling opportunity before she left this world. (insert balling my eyes out) Here I am 4 years later in such a safe and healthy environment that allows me to be ME, dream of a future with my family, and aligns with my values and goals.
May this episode give you a little insight to where I've been and where I am now, my heart behind it all, and to encourage you to take the leap if you've been feeling a nudge. It can be SO scary, trust me, I know. My wish is to see everyone tap into their true and FULL passion and potential but sometimes we are limiting ourselves when we think it's just in this "one place" or can only look 1 way. I believe that things hold different spaces in seasons of our life, different purposes, and are like a stepping stone to get to a more final destination of our calling. Be open to what is being placed in front of you...may my story be a source of hope and connection for you.
Thanks for listening,
Gabby

Hi Friend,
"Don't limit your challenges, challenge your limits." That hits deep doesn't it? Our natural tendency as humans is to stay in the known, do what feels good, and stay where it's comfortable. There is nothing wrong with wanting that, but it actually can become unhealthy for us if it always becomes the norm and can ruin our chances of living a FULL life. How do you get uncomfortable??
In this episode I talk about our typical mindset, how & why we must shift it, and how to have the courage to take that step into the unknown.
Most people that continue to stay comfortable are unhappy/miserable most of the time, or just complacent about life. I don't want that for you and God doesn't either!! He asks us to MOVE, LIVE, and SERVE this world and to do that we must get out of our comfort zone, fail, and humble ourselves from time to time.
I know this episode will challenge your thinking and prompt you with some really good questions about your life. I challenge you to not be afraid to fail because without failure you will never grow.
Be blessed,
Gabby
