Hey Hey!
Welcome back to another episode. You guys, I am PUMPED about this one. It was requested as a topic by one of my listeners and at first I resisted it but I knew it needed to be talked about. Now, let's set things straight here. I am NOT going to break down and crunch numbers here for you or tell you what your budget should be. What I WILL do is help you discover how you can make this work for you, uncover where you might be spending money that isn't going to help you achieve this kind of lifestyle, creating a motivation and reason why you desire to live more this way, where to shop for good deals and how to shop. I share my personal approach to this way of living, how we have chosen to live to make this more possible, and more.
One thing I can't believe I didn't mention was GROW A GARDEN! haha, sheesh Gabby. Maybe it's because we've chatted garden stuff before or maybe I just assumed you guys would consider that as a way to save money. Now the way to save money when doing that is to just grow what your family loves to eat, don't get anything fancy or expensive to grow in, just stay basic, get resourceful and creative. It's sooooo fulfilling and worth it.
I know it can feel overwhelming to know where to start and my first tip was to cut back on eating out and begin cooking at home to save you money and to save your health. You will feel overwhelmed by making too many changes all at once so just start in one or two places and get good at them. Find your new rhythm and cultivate habits that will get you to your ultimate goals. It isn't rocket science when it comes to living a more whole food/healthier lifestyle. Get back to the basics, skip the processed food aisles, and enjoy your kitchen a bit more. Your body and wallet will thank you.

Hey there!
This one is for the Momma's out there and those of you who desire to be a Mom someday. It's never too soon to fill your mind and resource bank with encouragement, wisdom, and advice from other Mom's. I hope to be that Momma for you, that I can display all my successful moments and completely hard/raw and real moments so you can have a safe space to come to for support and encouragement.
Today I was inspired by this topic from a John Maxwell leadership podcast I was listening to on a long run. It really was targeted for business people and big companies but I felt God speaking to me right through it saying, "Gabby, this is exactly your role in Motherhood" Equipping little people and leading them! I can't wait for you to listen and be even more encouraged in your role as a Mom. We get pretty deep and I for sure am speaking to myself just as much as I am you ;)

Hi friends!
It feels good to be back! I missed chatting with you all. This episode is probably going to be very eye opening and filled with some new and educating info! We are going to be talking about the Ancient Grain of ALL grains...Einkorn Flour.
I know, it's a funny name, and you're like why are we talking about flour? Well, this ain't just your ordinary baking flour. We dive deep into the makeup of this flour, how it's different from conventional flours/wheats, all it's health benefits, and MORE! I learned about this flour a couple years back when I dove into making sourdough. A lady I was learning from was talking about it and I decided to look into it and was amazed at how I had never heard of this nutritious flour before.
The neat part is this flour can be tolerated by most Gluten Free people! I am not GF myself but know many who are and this is game changer. Now, I am no doctor and do not claim or give medical advice so please make your best informed decision or talk to your care provider if you are considering this. Gluten allergies and sensitivities are all different and if you have Celiac this is NOT a recommended flour. Just needed to make that known, and I do chat about it in the episode.
You are going to learn SO much and I hope this prompts you to hopefully get yourself some and start trying it out and implementing it into your diet. I have made so many yummy things with it as well as use it in a blend of flours when making my sourdough. It has a golden color with a rich nutty flavor. Absolutely delicious.

Hey Guys!
Welcome back to another week's episode. This one seemed to be a BIG request so I am guessing this one is really going to encourage you guys and bless you in many ways. I take time in this episode to share a summarized version of all the change that I experienced in my life. Each change brought different seasons of life, different areas to grow in, many trials, a lot of pain, many unanswered questions, but A TON of growth.
I am not the person I am today without my past and neither are you my friend. Life can feel heavy and like it's all happening to you but I pray that sharing a bit of my story, some encouraging verses, and being vulnerable with my journey can help you process and begin to move forward in whatever season of life you are in.
God doesn't waste anything if you choose to allow him to use your trials and pain for growth and purpose. It get's wasted when we choose to let it be, blame others or things, fall victim, believe lies, stay still, and stay comfortable.
We get to help others go through similar trials when we can relate and share our own testimony of how we fought our way through and how God sustained you.

Welcome Back!!! This episode is FULL of juicy content. Even if you are not a parent, this is for anyone who works with children, works with parents, takes care of grandbabies, etc. Anyone who has influence in children's lives this is the episode for YOU! Food is fuel. Food is medicine. Food and help or it can hurt. Children are at such crucial developing stages from conception to age 5 (and of course beyond as well but not at such high speed). What we feed our children matters just like what we feed us as adults matter. We want to raise health conscious children who understand why certain foods are better than others for their bodies. Am I saying they can never have an oreo, pizza, chips, a soda? No. Those are in moderation and also require conversations to be had around them.
We want our kids to have a good relationship with food and their bodies and not pick up on the habits formed over the years and passed down from one generation to the next.
In this episode we chat a lot about ingredients to watch out for in your kids snacks, why mealtime is important, what you should consider buying for snack options, and how to have big conversations around the foods we eat in ways that our kids can easily understand.
I know this will be SUPER helpful for you guys, especially you Moms. May you be encouraged, inspired, and convicted to take some action no matter how small. One step at a time is all that's needed. Hello hello!
Welcome back to another episode! This week is a quickie but one that is straight from the heart and touches on things I have been pondering and feeling lately. A lot of heavy things have been going on in the world since 2020 and it has definitely grabbed a hold of so many of our hearts and minds.
While there is definitely a time and space for having productive conversations and voicing your opinions for purpose, I don't know that it's helpful for everyone under the sun to be doing so online. Do yourself a favor and just check in with how being online is making you feel. How much are you consuming vs how much are you creating or just living in the moments of life free from distractions of the world.
We set ourselves up for failure when we keep that dang phone near us all the time and start and end our day with it. We must do better bc you deserve better. Free your mind, your thoughts, your emotions and just be present in your home and relationships right in front of you. Set up boundaries for your intake of social media or the news, some of it is healthy and ok but we definitely over consume on it.
May you find peace and freedom this summer by letting go little by little from the pull and draw of the internet and the noise in the world. It is heavy, it is a lot, and we weren't meant to carry it all. Do your part and follow the promptings of your heart if you feel the call to lead and take action but with purpose and in an honorable and respectable manner.

Hey guys!
This is a JUICY one filled with some great practical tips, a little bit of science talk, and education on what inflammation is, what causes it, what food and lifestyle factors contribute to it, and how to reduce it and prevent it with diet and lifestyle.
This is one of the leading issues in todays society and contributes to many health problems such as, Arthritis, Alzheimer's, Diabetes, Cancer, and more. I hope that in this episode you take away some practical things you can begin doing today to get you on track to either preventing these things as best you can or reversing some things you are experiencing.
My goal is to always educate you on open your eyes to more natural and holistic approaches so that you can really get to the root of the issue and not have to rely on medications for the rest of your life, which really just put a band aid on what's going on. Use this information as you want and make your best educated decision.

Summer is HERE! I hope it is off to a great start and that you have some fun plans. While I am all about living life and enjoying some time off of doing certain things I care about keeping habits going strong and cultivating an environment that will always keep me on track with where I want to go in life with my mindset and actions.
